Replica Dance Company, January 2012

During our time at Pavilion Dance we have felt nurtured and supported not only through our initial creative process for our latest work, "4:14", but also in its development. Our time at Pavilion Dance has also enabled us to work with people from other art forms, constantly providing a new experience for us and other artists in an inspiring and creative environment.

"We have also had the opportunity to deliver workshops and company class, which has greatly enriched our development as a company. The staff are always willing to help and we have to thank Ian for going the extra mile to guide us in the right direction. His balance of professionalism and good humour should definitely be noted. We would recommend Pavilion Dance from someone thinking about getting into dance to professional dance artists."

Fleur Darkin / Dance Chora, Choreographer, November 2011

It was a real treat to come, breathe the sea air and work in the studio all day. If we could, we would decamp to Pavilion Dance. It is exactly the kind of place that is conducive to making work. All the staff were friendly, welcoming and looked after us wonderfully. The rehearsal spaces are
fantastic, uplifting and high quality and the theatre is a great size and great to work in.

"This is an inspirational building and natural environment, most of the company ran on the beach in the mornings. The sea is healing and could Pavilion Dance not be England's answer to Cove Park?

Jane Mason, Choreographer, September 2011

Dance South West have been very instrumental in supporting me over the years including Pavilion Dance since its opening. Initially I was fortunate to become an associate artist of DSW in 2004. For me this meant a great deal in terms of encouragement and the feeling that my work was valued and esteemed."

Hannah Sharpe, Project Manager for State of Emergency productions, April 2011

It was great being in residence at Pavilion Dance during State of Emergency’s production week. The technician, was absolutely fantastic, always happy to help (above and beyond) and was flexible as things changed. The facilities are also great and the general atmosphere of the staff is friendly and welcoming. On top of all of that, it is by the seaside! What more can a company need?!”
